Overwatch (2016)

In 2017, coming up with a multiplayer first-person shooter that could reignite the genre seemed impossible. The field was crowded, what else was left to be tried?

Overwatch proved many wrong. Not only did it deliver incredible gameplay, but it came with a case of characters more inventive than any we’ve seen in a first-person shooter. Tie in the fact that it’s not unlikely to see this gaming being played a sports bar due to its growing e-sports following, and you have a game that’s likely to only go up this list as the years pass.
